I'm Jorn Baars, photographer, located in Leiden (The Netherlands), but shooting anywhere my camera leads me. Thank you for visiting my website and portfolio.
I have a strong passion for music, people, events, and a combination of any of these. My photography is all about that.
Music was the very reason for me to pick up a camera - I love those small sessions by artists that yet have to be discovered by a big audience. But just as great are slick shows by experienced bands. From dance music to string quartets, from small filming setups to major festivals.
It's the passion and the emotions that come with people and music, which I try and translate into still images.
Since then, my work has broadened, but people continue to be the common theme in everything I do. Current work includes press photos, business portraits, photography of (branded) business events, backstage shoots, and weddings.
